After years developing her career in a different field, she chose to make a significant change and devote herself fully to her true calling: caring for animals and standing by the people who love them.

That path, however, started much earlier. Baileys, her greyhound, was the one who sparked her passion for animal behaviour and led her to become a certified canine educator through the UAB. With Baileys she shared years of training, activities in schools and elderly-care homes, and countless experiences that still shape how she practises today.

As a veterinary technician and certified canine educator, she believes in a close, honest and respectful veterinary practice — where listening, explaining and being present matter as much as diagnosing and treating.

Baileys (2009–2023) will always be part of the soul of La Salut, because she taught Marta many of the lessons we now put into practice every day at the clinic.

She loves dogs, cats and — especially — exotic animals, and she continues training constantly to offer the best possible care. Above all, she stands out for the sensitivity with which she treats every patient, paying attention to the small gestures that can make a real difference.

Her experience, sense of responsibility and ability to handle any situation make everything flow naturally. She is a versatile, committed professional whom both the team and the families trust completely.

She is currently finishing her degree in Psychology, a background that complements her humane outlook and sensitivity.

She is also the person behind much of our social media presence, sharing the day-to-day of the clinic with care and affection.
