Why trust us

A neighbourhood clinic — modern and deeply human.

Not a cold hospital, not an old-fashioned clinic. We want you to feel at home and to leave every visit with clear answers.

40 years in the same neighbourhood

We have been caring for the animals of La Salut families for decades. Some have been with us for generations.

We take our time with you

Every family is different and every animal has their own character. We set aside the time each visit needs.

Ongoing training and modern tools

We keep learning every year, and we have a laboratory, digital imaging and monitoring to work with confidence.

Animal wellbeing, always

We work calmly and with positive reinforcement. We want your animal to leave as relaxed as they arrived.

Our story

A new chapter, the same calling.

The Centre Veterinari La Salut has been part of the neighbourhood for almost forty years. In 2026 we began a new chapter: keeping the trust we have always earned and building an even closer, better-equipped clinic.

Good veterinary medicine starts with listening, explaining clearly and caring for each animal with the respect and calm they deserve.

Team

The people who make La Salut possible

We share the same approach to veterinary care: rigour, closeness and empathy with every family and every animal.

The clinic

A space to feel at ease.

We have looked after every corner so that a visit feels gentle: separate waiting areas for cats and dogs, warm light, soft music and up-to-date clinical equipment. Small details that make everything easier.

  • Separate waiting areas for cats and dogs
  • Operating room with full monitoring
  • In-house lab for same-day results
  • Calm, supervised recovery area

Hospitalization

Wellbeing heals too.

Every patient has different needs during recovery. Our hospitalization areas are designed to reduce stress, offer comfort and adapt to each animal — because we believe wellbeing is an essential part of healing.

A calm, comfortable space for cats

Cats recover better in a quiet environment. Our feline hospitalization area offers space, warmth when needed and a calm atmosphere to minimise stress during their stay.

Comfort beyond the cage

Whenever the patient's condition allows, we prefer that dogs rest comfortably on orthopaedic beds rather than staying inside a cage. We believe comfort, calm and freedom of movement are part of the treatment too.

Dedication

A story that continues

Marta hugging Baileys, her greyhound, in an intimate moment
For Baileys (2009–2023), the greyhound who inspired this project.

Some animals pass through our lives. Others transform them forever.

Baileys (2009–2023) will always be part of the soul of La Salut.

She was the one who sparked Marta's passion for animal behaviour, led her to become a canine educator and, years later, to take the step of dedicating her life to veterinary medicine.

Many of the lessons that inspire how we care for, listen to and accompany animals today began by her side.

Thank you for having been the beginning of everything.
